Imagine

Mark 16:5-8
And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed. And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him! But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you. And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them: and they said nothing to any one; for they were afraid.

Have you ever thought about the angel in the tomb awaiting the women? How excited would you be if you had the task of sharing the most exciting news in the history of the world, not just until the present, but for all eternity! I couldn’t have handled it! He was the first to say, “He is risen!” Death is done for! Your Savior is alive! Your sin is paid for! Satan has been defeated!
I guess we have the same message to share over 2000 years later. He lives!

Quest?

quest |kwest| a noun:
a long or arduous search for something : 1 search, hunt. 2 expedition, journey, voyage, trek, travels, odyssey, adventure, exploration, search; crusade, mission, pilgrimage

Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith — that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection form the dead.
(Philippians 3:8-11)

Paul’s quest was to know Christ. Our is the same.
