Out on the town

A group of us guys went out on the town. We would hop on a bus, introduce ourselves to the passengers, sing a few choruses, hand out candy and tracts, and then get off. I don’t think any of the passengers had ever seen three tall white guys singing on a bus! It is a normal thing to have people say a sob story, sing a sad song and ask for money, but not a concert like we gave!

Praying for the Deaf School and Church

While waiting in Iquitos for our boat to leave we visited a deaf school and church. The pastor had studied under Segundo, and we had become friends with one of the teachers on our previous trip to Peru. They are reaching out to a people group who have been forgotten in much of the world.
We were able to leave a bag of toys, stickers, pencils, and balloons to give to the kids, thanks to caring families back in Minnesota.
