We finished our last day of classes for the semester today. What a trip the past months have been. If it were only possible to write down half of what we have learned in the past 242 days I would love to, but I am afraid that it probably wouldn’t work, and if it did, who would read it? I guess I might, and Crystal may, but there would be so many misspellings that she would just get frustrated.
Anyway, we decided to celebrate by going to Como Park. We walked around and looked at the animals, flowers and funny looking people.
I will be posting pictures in the future, probably about the time that I sit down and write out half of what I’ve learned.

Apparently Mexico has bred a new type of lion suited especially for their guarding capabilities.

I normally don’t do birthday cards (I prefer a rousing rendition of “this is your birthday song…”) but some in my family do. Nate is notorious for funny cards chosen out of his poor taste, and Amanda seems to find some humorous ones as well. These were two I received this year. I decided I needed to post Nate’s since it was the first one I have received with some sense of love in it, and Amanda’s, well, it was just true.

And for those wondering, my birthday is yet to come. We had to do some early celebrating. (Presents are always welcome, however)
