On our trip to Spain we had three primary goals, 1) Encourage the missionaries; 2) Initiate Contacts; and 3) Be Challenged in our participation in world missions.
In order to put ourselves in a place where God could maximize a heart change in our lives we did several things:
A. We sought to observe the culture of Spain.

B. We sought to visit other missionaries. This included spending time, not only with the Fulks and Templetons, but with the Albrights, Sipps, Darlings, and others.
C. We sought to visit other cities besides Salamanca such as Segovia, Placensia, and León.
Through these three, and many other means, God used our trip to give us a broader vision of what He is seeking to do through the Church. Spending time walking the streets, sitting on the bus, visiting landmarks, and playing at the parks we were confronted with a constant flow of individuals in need of Jesus Christ.
Talking with missionaries who have lived their entire lives in Spain and others who had recently arrived, we were able to see God’s grace at work in their lives as they challenged their neighbors with the Gospel.
Visiting other cities in scouting opportunities or retreat weekends, we saw how there is not merely one large city that needs local churches proclaiming the name of Christ, there are many.
We are thankful for what God is doing through those who are there, and were challenged in how we could be a greater part of that.
