{"id":10116,"date":"2020-09-30T02:38:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-30T07:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scquest.org\/?p=10116"},"modified":"2020-09-28T13:38:55","modified_gmt":"2020-09-28T18:38:55","slug":"the-heart-of-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scquest.org\/?p=10116","title":{"rendered":"The heart of God"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Psalm 146 (ESV):<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Praise the Lord, O my soul!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will praise the Lord as long as I live;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Put not your trust in princes,<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When his breath departs, he returns to the earth;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">on that very day his plans perish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">whose hope is in the Lord his God,<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">who made heaven and earth,<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the sea, and all that is in them,<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">who keeps faith forever;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">who executes justice for the oppressed,<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">who gives food to the hungry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lord sets the prisoners free;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the Lord opens the eyes of the blind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the Lord loves the righteous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lord watches over the sojourners;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">he upholds the widow and the fatherless,<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lord will reign forever,<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">your God, O Zion, to all generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The heart of God goes out to the oppressed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Psalm 146 (ESV): Praise the Lord!
