My thoughts immediately go to Paul’s reminder to the believers in Philippi, “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

He tells them, don’t be anxious/worry/fear about anything. This peace is better than anything you have ever experienced!

I am so thankful that Paul didn’t say, “When you are fearing – change your circumstances” because I normally fear when I cannot change the circumstances!
