Day #27 You can’t…

take it to heaven…but you can lug it around like Beverly Hillbillies!
(We took a seminary student and his family from Urubamba, Cusco to a jungle town 5 hours away to begin pastoring there. We traveled over a mountain pass at 14,300 feet, careened down switchbacks into the jungle, over rivers, dirt roads, and with 15 passengers inside. It was a ride)

Day #20

Do not worry; eat three square meals a day; say your prayers; be courteous to your creditors; keep your digestion good; exercise; go slow and easy. Maybe there are other things your special case requires to make you happy; but, my friend, these I reckon will give you a good lift.

Day #19 God cares…

about me more than a flower.

Luke 12:27-28 “Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!”

Day #18 A Child

of God is who I am. In the light of the new addition into our family, the reality of my Heavenly Father is much more real. I was not only adopted but born again into His family.

I John 3:1 “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.”
